Block 69
Within the new four-block re-development of the Downtown Y, Block 69 offers a unique urban living experience designed to serve a diverse community. In collaboration with Edlen and Company and deChase Miksis, Pivot North is providing comprehensive architectural design services for this innovative mixed-use workforce housing project.
Block 69 is a seven-story landmark, featuring 227 residential units to address Boise’s growing need for middle-income housing. With an active ground-floor tenant lounge, a bike hub with workshop space, and second-floor coworking spaces that open onto outdoor garden courtyards, providing valuable amenities for its residents. The exterior of the building tells a story of its own, with a six-story colorful mural that creates an engaging visual connection to the outdoors. Each unit boasts great access to natural light, and the top floor offers a resident rooftop patio space with unparalleled views of the Boise foothills.
This project not only provides modern and affordable downtown living but also a vibrant, inclusive community atmosphere. Residents can enjoy easy access to the new YMCA, local businesses, parks, and public transportation, making it an ideal location for those seeking a balanced lifestyle in the heart of Boise.
