Pivot North Architecture

Partners in Fire and Emergency Services Design

The team here at Pivot North possesses extensive expertise in the architectural design of local fire and emergency services structures. It’s an area we care greatly about, and we are passionate about supporting our first responders. Over the years we’ve teamed up with another like-minded Pacific Northwest firm, Rice Fergus Miller, to continuously strengthen and grow our practices in innovative and efficient fire and emergency services design. Together we have designed an extensive amount of leading-edge facilities throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Our combined 25+ years of fire station design experience recently includes collaboration with the Boise Fire Department on a new regional training campus and two fire stations. Additionally, our two firms are partnered in providing fire department master planning and bond assistance to the Twin Falls Fire Department and designing new fire stations for the cities of Meridian, Caldwell, and Nampa.

This year Pivot North and Rice Fergus Miller reunited again to attend the annual Idaho Fire Chiefs Association Conference in Sun Valley. We look forward to this opportunity to connect with leaders in the community and to understand the unique issues and challenges facing our state fire agencies. Through this experience, we can better address problems and create solutions through thoughtful architectural design.

We are honored to support Idaho’s fire and emergency services teams at this event each year and always enjoy connecting with the driven folks that make this event possible. Until next year!
