This unique campus will unite post-9/11 military members and their spouses with adaptive athletes from both organizations, creating a supportive community and enhancing member programs.

“The remarkable people at both Mission43 and Challenged Athletes Foundation Idaho deserve a space that lives up to the enormous good they do in our communities,” said JKAF Executive Director Roger Quarles. “With the room and resources devoted to the Fieldhouse, the benefits to the members and to Idaho are limitless.”

Located on 6.79 acres along Boise’s famous Greenbelt; the Fieldhouse will serve as a permanent and distinctive landmark on Barber Valley Dr. on Boise’s east side. Designed with direct input from members, every aspect of the facility caters to their needs and preferences.

“I expect to use the facility in the same way that people without disabilities use a gym. Which is very exciting when you think about the challenges I have to face when going to a fitness facility, that hasn’t been tailored to the needs of wheelchair users,” said Josh Sweeney, an athlete who belongs to both organizations.

The main Fieldhouse building will cover approximately 46,000 square feet. Primary elements include an aquatic center, gymnasium, performance fitness areas, conference rooms, storage, administrative offices, a welcoming area, and a climbing wall.

Additional campus features include short-term housing for visiting members, and a hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) center for those recovering from injuries. Once open, the Fieldhouse will be open exclusively to members.

Extraordinary projects like this are the reason we do what we do here at Pivot North.

We are extremely proud to collaborate with JKAF, Mission43, the Challenged Athletes Foundation-Idaho, and many other dedicated partners to bring the Idaho Outdoor Fieldhouse to life. It is a privilege to help create spaces like this, and we look forward to see the achievements of those who cross its threshold.
