Idaho Department of Fish & Game

Pivot North with our design/build partner proposed a new headquarters for the Idaho Department of Fish and Game, replacing their existing facility, which the organization has outgrown. Our goal was to design a facility that would reflect the values of the organization and fit into the unique location along the Boise River.

Adjacent to Kristin Armstrong Municipal Park and the MK Nature Center the project needed to fit into its natural setting. A conference/education center is surrounded by an “L” office building. The “L” form is broken down into two-story and three-story pitched roof volumes separated by second-floor patios overlooking the park and Nature Center grounds.

The project as conceptualized will not be built.
