Kendyl Smith
Interior Designer
An introduction to interior design by her middle school art teacher led Kendyl to find the right combination of analytical and creative problem-solving that had brought her joy from earlier in life. This led her to choose the University of Idaho to earn her degree in Interior Architecture and Design. Growing up in the Seattle area imparted an appreciation for our natural environment and also a curiosity about how our design decisions impact the spaces we inhabit, and how we use space to positively push wellbeing. She designs with a comprehensive attitude, looking for cohesion in the experience of every moment. She is involved with the design community as a member of IIDA, currently on the Northern Pacific Chapter board as the VP of JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion)
In addition to project work, you’ll find Kendyl picking up a new craft, reading, sewing, sometimes golfing, and rooting for her favorite Seattle sports teams.
