2024 IIDA Leadership Award
Let’s give a big round of applause to Mae Myers, our Interior Design Studio Lead, for receiving the 2024 Leadership Award from the IIDA Northwest Pacific Chapter in recognition of her outstanding advocacy work!
In Idaho, interior design remains an unregulated profession, unlike in 39 other U.S. states. State-level regulation helps establish professional standards that protect public health, safety, and welfare. As the IIDA Director of Advocacy for Idaho, Mae is making significant progress by introducing a bill that would allow interior designers who meet education, experience, and examination requirements to become “registered”—similar to architects and engineers in the state.
Efforts to pass this legislation will continue over the next few years. Stay tuned for updates! We’re incredibly proud of Mae’s dedication to advancing the profession and thrilled to have her on our team.
