Amelia Marek

Amelia grew up in the little town of Grangeville in north-central Idaho but hasn’t let small town roots tie her down. At 29 she’s lived in three different countries, but just recently found her home back in Idaho.

After studying abroad in Rome, she graduated from the University of Idaho and got her first job at a multi-national firm in Beijing. Since then, she graduated with her master’s degree from the Staedelschule Architecture Class in Frankfurt, Germany where she had the opportunity to work with world-acclaimed architects and present her accomplishments at the Venice Architecture Biannual.

Now that Amelia is back in the PNW, you can spot her going about her old habits, whether it be skiing, mountain biking or whitewater rafting. But don’t get her confused with her identical twin sister who’s also a fixture in the Boise architecture community!
